Make a difference in the life of a TEC horse ...

Become a sponsor. Click here to learn more about sponsoring a TEC horse.

We need YOU to help our horses change the lives of our participants!

We’re always looking for more volunteers.  No experience is necessary … We’ll train you.  The only requirement is that you can walk for about 45 minutes.  Not a constant walk as there are many stops within the riding lesson.  Anyone the age of 14 and up can join the TEC Volunteer Team.  Click here to download are volunteer flyer.  Ready to join the TEC Volunteer Team?  Complete your volunteer forms and then contact TEC’s Volunteer Coordinator, Beth Drollinger, at (269) 932-5005 or send her an e-mail at  Can’t be a volunteer?  Can you help us spread the word by sharing this flyer with your family and friends?  We’d appreciate it if you did.  THANKS!

Weather Cancellation Policy

Summer/Heat Index

Riding lessons are cancelled if the heat index reaches 89 degrees or higher.

Winter/Wind Chill

Riding lessons are cancelled if the temperature reaches 15 degrees or colder, and/or if the wind chill is 0 or colder.  Road conditions are also taken into consideration.

When sessions are cancelled due to weather, we will attempt to notify everyone 2 hours before the lesson.  We will also post the information on WNDU TV Channel 16.  Riders will be credited a class for another session up to a year.  The same policy applies if 2 classes are cancelled in the same session.  If more than 2 classes are cancelled in a session the third can be credited or a refund for the third class can be issued.  It is up to the rider to inform TEC what they wish to do.
