Barn Help
Do you like to get your hands dirty? Are you ready to get “up close and personal” with the horses? Yes! Consider lending a hand as a barn volunteer. TEC barn volunteers are responsible for taking care of the chores around the barn and pasture. This includes duties such as feeding and watering the horses, cleaning out the stalls, turning the horses out in the morning and bringing them in for the evening, and much more. Working around the barn is a great way to gather your friends, co-workers, or members of your congregation for a Barn Work/Clean Up Day or Horse Spa Day.
“There is always a need for barn work, help with classes, administrative tasks, trade skill labor, and (of course) monetary donations.” – TEC Volunteer and Barn Support, Dee Tuohy
Though it's a wee bit outdated, please review our Volunteer Handbook for a complete description of these roles and your responsibilities as a TEC volunteer.
