Did you know TEC never turns away a participant regardless of their ability to pay?  Nearly 25% of TEC participants receive some form of financial assistance through TEC’s Tuition Assistance Program. The cost to participate in a group riding lesson is $25 per lesson, but the actual cost to TEC is $45.

 

As a 503(c) nonprofit organization, TEC receives no federal or state funding and relies heavily on financial and in-kind (goods and/or services) contributions to support making “I Did It!” moments happen for people young and old living with special needs.  On average 1/3 of TEC’s income is from program revenue, the remaining 2/3 comes mostly from monetary donations, grants, memorials, planned giving, and fundraising efforts.  The flipside is that managing the cost of our programs and facilities is roughly 60% of TEC’s expense budget.  This shows how crucial your support is to sustaining TEC’s program.
